2012 Veteran’s Day Weekend Freebies and Discounts

Military US FlagIf you or someone you know is a military veteran then check out this long list of freebies and great discounts for Veteran’s day weekend. Be sure to check the dates on the offers and to call ahead to confirm your store or restaurant is participating this year. As always, remember to bring proper ID or come in uniform to receive the discount.

Veterans Day Restaurant Deals:

Applebees - Free Meal

All Veterans and active duty military eat free from a limited menu at Applebee’s on Veterans Day

BJ’s Restaurant and BrewhouseFree Lunch Entree

On Monday, November 12, 2012 BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse will offer veterans and servicemembers will be able to get a free lunch entree or a one-topping mini or individual pizza.

California Pizza Kitchen  - Free Meal

Active military and veterans who stop by participating California Pizza Kitchen locations will receive a free meal and non-alcohol beverage on November 11 or November 12, 2012. Valid proof of service is required (you can also wear your uniform.) Dine-in only.

Cheeseburger In Paradise  - Free Meal

Cheeseburger In Paradise locations will be giving out a free meal from a special menu for veterans and military personnel on Monday, November 12.

Chili’s  - Free Meal

Veterans and active duty dine for free from a special limited seven-item menu from 11am – 5pm on Veterans Day.

Denny’sAll You Can Eat Pancakes

Stop by Denny’s on Monday, November 12, 2012 and all active, non-active, and retired military personnel can get free all you can eat pancakes from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Friendly’sFree Breakfast

Friendly’s is giving veterans and active military a free Veterans Day breakfast which includes a Big Two Do Breakfast and coffee on Monday, November 12 during breakfast hours.

Golden CorralFree Meal

On Monday, November 12, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Golden Corral will be giving out Veterans Day free meals to any person who has ever served in the U.S. military or is on current active duty.

Great American CookiesFree Cookies for Veterans

Veterans or those in active duty military can stop by into a Great American Cookie location and get a free cookie all day on Sunday, November 11.

HootersFree Meal

Stop by a participating Hooters location anytime on Sunday, November 11, 2012 and get a Veterans Day free meal. You’ll get 10 free boneless wings. A drink purchase is required. You’ll need to bring in a military ID or proof of military service. Dine in only.

Hy-VeeFree Breakfast

Stop into any Hy-Vee grocery store with in-store dining and get a free breakfast on Monday, November 12, 2012. You’ll get to choose from a wide variety of breakfast foods set out on a buffet.

Krispy KremeFree Doughnut and Coffee

Veterans can start their Veteran’s Day off with a free breakfast at Krispy Kreme that includes a doughnut and a small coffee on Sunday, November 11, 2012.

Little Caesar’sFree Crazy Bread

Stop into a participating Little Caesar’s on Monday, November 12, 2012 and get a free order of Crazy Bread. You’ll need to present a valid military I.D. to get this freebie.

Lone Star SteakhouseFree Appetizer

Military members and veterans will be offered a free appetizer (does not include the Taste of Texas Sampler) on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012.

LongHorn Steakhouse - Free Texas Tonion

LongHorn Steakhouse is giving away free Texas Tonions and non-alcoholic beverages to veterans and active military who stop into their local Longhorn Steakhouse on Sunday, November 11, 2012.

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants – Free Entree

On Sunday November 11, participating McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants offer a complimentary entree to vets from a special menu on a space available basis, online reservations are highly recommended.

Olive Garden - Free Meal

Olive Garden is having a Veterans Day free meal for all veterans and those on active duty on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Veterans can choose from Seafood Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiana, Unlimited Soup, Salad, & Bread sticks, Grilled Sausage & Peppers Rustica, Cheese Ravioli, or Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. All these entrees come with freshly baked garlic breadsticks and choice of soup or salad.

Outback Steakhouse - Free Bloomin’ Onion

Active and retired military, with valid ID, will receive a Free Bloomin’ Onion and a coke product on November 11 – 12, 2012. While you’re there, be sure to check out the Military Mates 10% discount that will run through December 31, 2012.

On The BorderFree Meal

On The Border is giving veterans who have proof of military service a free entree certificate valid up to $10. This certificate can be redeemed any time between November 12 and November 30, 2012. This free Veterans Day meal is only valid for dine-in at participating

Red Lobster Free Appetizer

Military personnel will get a free appetizer on November 11 from Red Lobster in honor of Veteran’s Day.

Red Robin - Free Red Robin Gourmet Burger & Fries

Military personnel with proof of service or military ID will get one free Red’s Tavern Double burger and Bottomless Steak Fries (which means free refills) on Monday, November 12, 2012.

Sizzler Steak HouseFree Lunch Entree

Veterans and service members can get a free lunch on Monday Nov. 12, 2012 until 4:00pm. The limited menu includes 3 entrees – 6 oz. Steak, Malibu Chicken, or a Half Dozen Fried Shrimp.

Texas RoadhouseFree Lunch Entree

Active and retired members of the military will receive a free lunch at any Texas Roadhouse Location on November 12, 2012. Select from 10 delicious entrees including 6-ounce Sirloin Steak, Country Fried Chicken or Sirloin, All American Cheeseburger, Grilled Chicken Salad and more. Side dish(es) and drinks are included.

Tim HortonsFree Doughnut

Tim Horton’s in America will be offering free donuts to all active and inactive members of the U.S. military. No purchase is necessary. Uniform or military ID is required.

T.G.I. Friday’s - Free Lunch

T.G.I. Friday’s will be having free lunch for all veterans on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at participating locations. Be sure to contact your local T.G.I Friday’s for details.

Travel Centers of AmericaFree Meal

All CDL drivers who are Military Veterans eat free on November 11, 2012. Up to $15.00 on a complimentary meal of your choice. Must present valid ID or photograph in uniform.

Uno Chicago GrillFree Pizza or Entree

Active duty and veterans will receive a free individual pizza or entrée with purchase of a pizza or entrée (of equal value) on November 11- 12th.

Free Admissions or Store Discounts & Deals

Amazon – Free MP3 album download “Veterans Day Honor” – Available at Amazon on Veterans Day. Download the album or individual songs for free (full price again starting Nov. 12).

Free Admission to America’s National Parks – In honor of Veteran’s Day, more than 100 National Parks in America will be offering free admission to everyone from November 10 – 12, 2012.

Bed and Breakfasts for Vets – Participating inns and Bed and Breakfasts across America will be offering a free room for one night to those who have served on Sunday, November 11, 2012. But hurry – space is limited.

Big Lots - Veterans, active duty, retired and reserve military personnel and their immediate family members with valid ID get a 10% discount on purchases.

Build-A-Bear Workshop – The store is offering 20% off a purchase when guests present a valid military ID.

Free Car Wash – The Grace for Vets is offering a free car wash on November 11th for all veterans and service personnel.

Goodwill – Save 15% on Tuesdays

Free Admission at Knott’s Berry Farm – All veterans, retired and active military personnel and a guest will get in free from November 1 – 21, 2012.

Old Navy: Every Monday, including November 12, 2012, active and veteran military personnel with ID cards are granted 10% off their purchases.

Red Roof Inn – Veterans with valid military IDs get 15% off their stay for the entire month of November.

Salvation Army –Save  25% on Tuesdays

Savers Stores – 50% off storewide sale on Veterans Day for military veterans with ID.
