Giveaway: Tasteful Selections Potatoes

by Mackenzie on February 2, 2012

Tasteful SelectionsLast week or so I wrote about an email I had received from Tasteful Selections and a free Slow Cooker Recipe eCookbook they had available on their Facebook page. Well I asked them to offer coupons to my readers to try the products and they agreed!

Tasteful Selections are second generation family farmers in the Central Valley of California near Bakersfield. Their potatoes are harvested in April and October and their special varieties of potatoes are bred to grow small in other words these aren’t regular potatoes just harvested early. Tasteful Selections controls every aspect of the product; they breed the seeds, they grow the seedlings in their own greenhouse, they plant the seedlings on their own land, they harvest and pack everything themselves. These potatoes never leave their sight until they get to your grocery store. It helps Tasteful Selections deliver the best in quality and food safety. You can find store locations on their website along with more information on their products including their different varieties of potatoes and flavors.

I make a potato dish where I dice red or new potatoes, boil them until just tender, drain and and butter and cilantro. Bet it would taste great with these potatoes!
