by Jess on May 1, 2013

Pom-Pom-Pencil-HolderAs soon as our final school vacation passes, it’s time to think ahead to Teacher Appreciation week and end of the year thank you gifts for our teachers.  I always like include something that we’ve made so that it’s a more personalized gift.  This Pom Pom container would make a wonderful pencil holder for your favorite teacher or a lovely little vase to gift flowers in!

Pom-Pom-Pencil-HolderMaterials Needed:

  • Pom poms in assorted colors
  • One jar
  • glue

Instructions:

  1. Start by getting your pom poms ready and figuring out your color scheme or pattern.
  2. Make sure your jar is clean and dry
  3. Starting at your base, apply glue to each individual pom pom and work your way around and then up, filling in the holes until your entire container is full of pom poms
  4. Let dry for 24 hours
  5. Fill with the contents of your choosing – pencils, candy, flowers, anything goes!
