Disney Junior Magazine was launched in October 2011 as a subscription magazine full of magical stories and activities for kids ages 3-5 with stories about friendship and an underlining message. With roughly 42 pages featuring Mickey, Handy Manny, and many other familiar Disney pals, children can play games, solve puzzles, and learn about helping, celebrating, and sharing. All life’s important lessons!
Disney Junior Magazine is offered major retail outlets including Target, Wal-Mart and Barnes & Noble or available online for $29.92 through Disney.
My Opinion
When I received the free samples of the May/June Disney Junior Magazine it was one of the best events in my home. You may think that sounds weird but I have an active, chatty 5 year old and as soon as I slipped the magazine out of the envelope my daughter was like a hawk on prey! “Jake and the Neverland Pirates!!” Quickly the magazine was grasped out of my hands and soon my active, chatty child was quiet…and still! She sat on the couch and completely absorbed with the magazine. As she “read” each page carefully she began to learn about caring about yourself, others and the environment (hello recycling with Oso!) as this month’s issue is centered on staying safe and being happy.
The magazine is FULL of activities and opportunities for Emerson to learn her letters, numbers, and more and best of all the magazine is all hers. And she is so proud of it!
