Simple Smocks {Frugal Crafts}

by Jess on June 13, 2013

simple-smocksAlways ready for an art project, we go through A LOT of smocks around here.  I used to buy smocks for the girl until I realized how many we had on hand!  This is sort of a no brainer, but if you have any old oxford shirts or business shirts hanging around, they make great smocks for the little artists in your life!  Simply roll the sleeves and have your child wear it backwards.  Button in back and there you have an instant smock that provides coverage (likely to the floor).  They are durable and fun!

I’m always up for an upcycled and useful option for getting messy!  They work well in the garden too!
