In 2014 Summer Family Movie Deals will be at movie theatres across the country offering free or cheap movies for kids and parents to help great causes and help you cool down during the summer. Many theatres offer different movies each week and at a great price so be sure to check each one to see what theatres near you are participating. And enjoy the summer!
Bow Tie Cinemas and Clearview Cinemas Kids Summer Film Series
Enjoy absolutely free admission to the Kids Summer Film Series at participating cinemas. Movies start at 10am and run from late June to Late August. For movie selection and dates check out the Kids Summer Film Series.
Carmike and Muvico Cinemas
Select theatres are offering different family films (G or PG) throughout the summer for only a $4 admission which includes a kids tray with popcorn, drink and fruit snack! Movie selection and dates differ from location so be sure to check the schedule available online.
Centrury Theatres, CineArts and Tinseltown
Select theatres are offering 10 weeks of family films through their Summer Movie Clubhouse. There is a new film each week for only $5 for all 10 weeks IF you buy the tickets in advance (in theatres) or $1 if buying the day of the event. Since each theatre has the option to pick the date and times each week along with the movie so make sure you check the list of participating theatres. The $5 punch cards are available at the theatre box while supplies last so you will want to check your local theatre soon. Prices are the same for kids and adults so make sure you grab a punch card for yourself.
Cinemaworld’s Free Summer Movies
From June through August children get free entry to the Cinemaworld’s Kid Fest at each of their three locations (Vero Beach, FL, West Melbourne, FL or Lincoln, RI). e able to see free summer movies at Cinemaworld movie theaters. Adults are $2 each or a donation of a non-perishable food item. One adult admission/donation must be made for every four free children’s admissions. The free summer movies are shown every day at 10:00 am.
Classic Cinemas Wednesday Morning Movies Series
Starting June 11th enjoy a new G or PG rated film for only $1 admission per person. This series will run nine (9) weeks and will run every Wednesday starting until August 7th. The series will only show G and PG rated films, which makes it perfect for all ages! Doors open for the Wednesday Morning Movies Series at 9:00 am and movies start at 10am. Enjoy special kid activities before the movie starts so come early.
Georgia Theatre Company Summer Movie Series
Movies shown Tuesdays and Thursdays in June and July starting at 10am (doors open at 9:15am). admission is $1 per person and kids enjoy $1.50 kid sized popcorn and $1.50 kid sized drink at the concession stands.
Harkins Theaters Summer Movie Fun
Kids and adults can enjoy a new movie each week for 10 weeks for only $1 per person at participating locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas.
Malco Theatres Kids Summer Film Fest
Starting June 4th enjoy $2 admission to family-friendly movies at participating locations in Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Movies shown each Tuesday and Wednesday at 10am until July 31st.
Marquee Cinemas (not updated yet for 2014)
Select theatres are offering different family films each week for no charge during the summer. Check here for dates and times at a theatre near you. Schedules will vary.
Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres
Select theatres are again offering previously released G and PG movies every Tuesday and Wednesday this summer for only $1 admission! All movies start at 10am and run for nine weeks with some theatres starting as soon as June 4th (based on location). To check whether your theatre is offering this special check here and search by zip code or state. A portion of all proceeds will benefit the Will Rogers Institute.
