Previously I posted about all the changes Facebook likes to implement and because they are continuously changing things I thought I would show you another change in hopes that you are able to see your favorite pages more often. The new feature is called Get Notifications and it is located under the “Like” button when you hover over (see image). This new feature will allow users like you and me to not miss updates from a specific page. This is supposedly used to work around the “formula” Facebook created to show you only those pages or posts that they think you would be interested in. On average only 10% or less are reached on any given page so that means you are only seeing 10% or less of your favorite pages, companies and blogs.
So if you enjoy the deals, recipes, coupons and sometimes quirky posts from The Centsible Family follow these steps to help you see use more on Facebook:
- Log into Facebook
- Find The Centsible Family page
- Find the Like button and hover over until you see the screenshot below. Make sure Get Notifications and Show In News Feed are checked.
- Save.
That’s it! Hopefully Facebook will stop changing things but somehow I doubt it…
