It’s no secret but I LOVE Playmobil. I’m not sure why but they just bring back childhood memories and allow kids to explore their imagination. That is why I was so excited to be able to review the Playmobil Princess Fantasy Castle as part of my Holiday Gift Guide and I couldn’t wait for the girls to see the Princess Fantasy Castle!
My Thoughts
The Princess Fantasy Castle measures 29.5″ in length, 28″ wide and 26″ in height. It is recommended for ages 4 and older however we allowed our two-and-a-half year old to play, supervised, with the larger pieces. Anything tiny was put in a plastic bag high on a shelf. The castle comes with a revolving dance floor perfect for Price Charming and the Princess to dance the night away along with a tower secret hiding place for little girls to discover. In addition there is an extension available for the castle allowing for the play structure to grow! My girls love this castle and all the life-size accessories that allow them to slip into the magic and pretend they are the princess as well.
Assembly is estimated at 120 minutes which can be a long time for a child to wait for their gift. I recommend putting it together the night before so they can play right away and having someplace to store it once it’s completed. We used a closet in the playroom that when it’s not in use it sits on shelving unit. That way it’s locked up from the little one but we can easily pull it out for either the six year old to play by herself or both girls supervised. It really is a magical Princess Fantasy Castle and we love it!
